I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well priced and good old place. The bar had a great selection of fabulous meals for breakfast. The hotel was in a magnificent location, very close to main attractions. It was also near the neigborhood of Peregine House, the theatre and town centre. Everything was really good and met needs well.

Magnificent and absolutely perfect location easy to walk to town center and quiet area. Nearby The Foundry Brew Pub - great place to chill out. Spotless, tastefully decorated unit with the window open, and excellent staff.

Our experience here was fairly nice. The breakfast offered variety of fab meals. The staff were excellent and hospitable, ready to any request. Super central location was a plus. Also, it was near a historic gothic-style cathedral.
We expected there would be reception, but didn't find it.

Every time we stay in Canterbury, like to stay here. The building is lovely and the rooms are nicely decorated with en-suite bathroom, fresh towels, for example.
The bathrooms are very small.

Accommodation was very good and the bed was comfortable. The building was situated very close to the centre of the City but was nevertheless quiet.
THe standard of the food provided for breakfast was extremely poor. The quality of the coffee was abyssmal. The so-called croissants were totally unacceptable in this day and age. Sainsbury's or Tesco's would have provided better. This was not the fault of the staff but of the suppliers used and would be very easy to recitfy. Just a little care and a degree of good taste would make all the difference.

The location itself was excellent and incredible, a minute walk from a 60 - foot high western gate. The staff were helpful and excellent, no reason to complain.
